HT2i 5.1 kit package
Our first home theater kit package. It includes the following kits for the DIY builder, complete for a 5.1 system with a sealed powered subwoofer plus equalization to make room integration of the sub and the mains easy.
Speakers in the package
- 1 × HT2iC kit: the mid-size, sleek and narrow center channel
- 4 × HT2i: the mid-size, sleek and narrow monitor, with sound quality not expected from a monitor of its size: a very large presence, yet retaining a controlled, strong midrange with vocal richness
- 1 × SD12 / amplifier kit: the SD12 woofer with a 150 watt subwoofer amplifier
The package includes
- 10 × 4.5" XBL² drivers
- 5 × RA104.5 ribbon tweeters
- Solen capacitors, Solen inductors, metal oxide resistors
- Terminal cups, ports, wire, screws, damping material
- 1 × SD12 subwoofer driver and 1 × Sub150 plate amplifier
- 5 CNC-cut baffles (4 × HT2, 1 × HT2C): all driver holes pre-cut and flush mounted, with magnets installed for the magnetic grilles
- Cardas lead-free silver solder
- Cabinet construction plans, plus a CD with complete construction photos of the cabinets and the crossover layout plans
